| Conlog is the largest of the Welsh Lakes lying over 2,000’ it has a dramatic setting. The severe frost of 1947 is believed to have killed all the fish, but it has been stocked with fry throughout the 1990’s and may well become an excellent fishery in the future, due to the wealth of insect life in the lake.

| As far as we know, no fish have been caught for a few years, but it has been stocked with fry during the nineties, hopefully these have thrived and the lake is on the verge of becoming a very good fishery.
Cormerants were seen feeding on the water during the summer of 2004, this can only be a good sign. If anyone fishes Conlog, and especially if they catch anything, please let us know. |
